Christmas Echoes

Glasses of mulled wine and mince pies made a pleasant start to “Christmas Echoes”, so it was an expectant audience that filled The George’s upstairs Garrick Ballroom and prepared themselves for a pre-Christmas evening of light entertainment and laughter. They were not disappointed!

Seven talented members of the Lichfield Players, with suitable Christmassy props to hand, lined up on the stage, with pianist Jake Ballinger and singer Ellie Galvin in support, to produce an evening of Christmas-themed jokes, songs, poems, and anecdotes, suitably interspersed with traditional Christmas carols, the latter with audience participation invited. Much fun and laughter ensued throughout what proved to be a gloriously entertaining evening, the audience eventually dispersing in a very merry mood for the run-up to the festive season and Christmas 2025.
